대학원 인공지능학과 & AI융합네트워크학과에서는 AI Convergence Network Colloquium & Artificial Intelligence을 11월 28일(화) 오후 3시에 개최하오니 많은 참여 부탁드립니다.
 Abstract : In recent decades, the use of image and video communication has increased significantly. The partial encryption makes real time secure communication feasible, because it is implemented without difficulty and it is computationally effective. For data encryption, the partial encryption algorithms effectively diminishes the quantity of data to attain a requisite level of security. The partial image encryption includes different algorithms like partial image encryption using scan method, phase manipulation method, band permutation, pixel scrambling and region of interest. The performance of the partial image encryption algorithms is tested with standard gray-scale images and analyzed using different evaluation metrics like histogram, correlation coefficient, information entropy and execution time. Everyday new partial encryption algorithm is evolving, hence fast and secure conventional partial encryption algorithms will always work out with high rate of security.
Bio : Dr. Parameshachari B.D. currently working as a Professor in the Department of Electronics and communication Engineering at Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India Affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, Karnataka, India. He is also the Visiting Professor for University of Rome Tor Vergata, Italy. He is currently serving as the Student Activity Committee Chair, IEEE Bangalore Section. He is also listed in the World’s Top 2% Scientist by Stanford University, USA for his research works. He is recognized as Research Guide at VTU,Belagavi, awarded TWO PhD and currently, SIX Research Scholars were pursuing Ph.D. Degree under his supervision. He has published over 150+ articles in SCI, SCOPUS and other indexed journals and also in several international conferences. He is the Associate Editor for Expert Systems (Wiley), International Journal of Computational Intelligence Systems (Springer), Wireless Communication and Mobile Computing (Hindawi) and International Journal of Reconfigurable and Embedded Systems (IAES). He is also serving as Editorial Board Member, Academic Editor and reviewer for several international journals indexed in SCI and SCOPUS.
He is the recipient of IEEE Bangalore Section Outstanding Volunteer Award, IEEE Bangalore Section Best Branch Counsellor Award and Outstanding Reviewer-Elsevier Signal Processing. He has served in various expert committees for VTU, Belagavi. He has also served as the Lead Guest Editor for Springer, Elsevier and IEEE Journals. Under his guidance, IEEE NMIT SB has received Rs. 20,00,000 funding from IEEE AESS Society.
